It’s indeed thrilling to announce that Picsquare is now live in Google Picasa. Now onwards, you can order all your prints from the Picasa Desktop tool. We’re currently available on the desk tool, but not on Picasa Web Albums. To order prints from the Picasa Web tool, simply select the photos you want.

Next, click on Order Prints. If you select India as your location, we’ll follow up with the rest. Picasa’s software will remember this selection you order prints the next time. Just for the sake of information folks, Picasa is a great tool for your picture needs. So, if you have great pictures on Picasa, and would like to take print-outs of it, you can rely on Picsquare as you have done in the past.

You’ve had a good time in the past uploading prints to Picsquare, and you can now do this from your Picasa Desktop Client. Hope this makes life simpler for you and you have a great time with us! The plan works in such a way that photos get added as credits into your account. These can be utilized over a period of one year from the date of purchase of the plan. There are no minimums while redeeming the prints.

Purchasing a prepaid print package from Picsquare is simple. For this, click on buy package and you will be taken to a prepaid print plan with the prices mentioned against each print package. Here, simply enter the quantity against the prepaid print plan that you are interested in. The total cost will be displayed at the bottom of the table. Once you have decided on the quantity you desire from us, choose the payment option from the bottom of the list, and the method to pay and click on ‘pay now’.

Redeeming prepaid prints is simple as well. The photo prints you buy under the relevant prepaid print plan will get added to your account as credits. In order to redeem the credits, first add the necessary number of prints to your cart, fill in other relevant details, and continue to the checkout page. Once you are on the check out page, click on ‘use earned credits’ under the discount section on the top. With this service, any number of credits can be redeemed at any point of time. You can enter the quantity of prints that your want to redeem and then click on “apply Credit Discount”. The discount will appear in the payment summary against the Discounts entry.

Few days back, I updated you about Picsquare reaching 1 million photographs and 50,000 users. To continue our effort to provide best value in online photography to Indian users we are launching a new feature – http://mysite.picsquare.com. The new feature – Personal Photo Site, will allow users to create their own photo website and could be described as blogs for photographs.

A brief snapshot about the feature:

Personal photo site is a different way of sharing personal photos, allowing people to share photos in their own way. Some of the main features are:

• Theme selection, variety of theme option available like weddings, vacation, birthday, family etc.

• Creating family photo site, allowing all family members to contribute and creating a common of photographs
